The Battle of Longwoods 2018 !
All winter we anxiously await our return to Longwwods Conservation Area outside Delaware Ontario! The Royal Scots never fail to set up a very well run annual event. As always we are treated "Royally" by the organizers! Friday evening was a little "breezy" but conditions were perfect for the two battles.

Rise to Rebellion 2018
This was our 11th year assisting the Georgina Pioneer Village with their two day Rise To Rebellion 1837 school program. Again several hundred grade 7 students form York Region and Durham Region participated as Patriots or supporters of The Family Compact!
Rallying speeches, drill, country dancing, the role of women, as well as native and sutler life were covered before participating in the march on Montgomery's Tavern!
